The tenth workshop was held in Auroville, an eco-village located in South India. It was a beautiful morning during our workshop.
We collaborate with Eco Femme this time. Eco Femme was a social enterprise also promotes and produces eco-pads.
From 2009 till now, they operated women health education and women’s empowerment projects in many villages, schools and enterpises in South India. Dharti Mata Sustainable Workshop was deeply influenced by them from their start. This was a very rare and special chance to hold uterus painting workshop in Auroville. Almost 20 people from all over the world joined this time, most of them worked in NGOs. We painted in beautiful square, people found their own corners, painting in nature. The picture was really comfortable and quiet. This time we had a mother with little baby and a pregnant women.
Recently I got a mail from South India. She said she was really happy to join the uterus painting workshop. That time she hasn’t knew she had already pregnant for 2 weeks, but she painted a small green seed unconsciously. Maybe that time her body already knew!
子宫彩繪工作坊| 印度曙光村 隨筆
第十場工作坊來到南印度生態村Auroville，在大樹下畫畫的早晨。 我們這次與姐妹組織Eco Femme合作，她們同樣在推廣及生產環保布衛生棉的社會企業，從2009年成立至今，在南印度許多村落、學校、企業舉辦婦女衛教及婦女賦權等相關計畫。 棉樂悅事工坊成立之初就深受Eco Femme影響。這次很難得在Auroville舉辦子宮彩繪工作坊，將近20個人來參加，來自世界各地的朋友，許多都是在非營利組織工作的人，我們在美麗的廣場下畫畫，大家各自一角，在自然中繪畫，畫面很自在與寧靜。這次有媽媽帶著小Baby，懷孕的女人。
特別的是最近收到一封來自南印度的信，她提到自己很開心可以參與子宮彩繪工作坊，而那時她不知道自己已經懷孕2個星期，可她無意識地在畫中，畫上一顆小綠種子在中心，也許當時身體已經知道了!
